There will be an opportunity to ask questions about financial aid, program entrance requirements, national certification upon course completion, and other topics of interest to adults considering career/technical training.
The Trumbull Career & Technical Center offers medical, industrial, and information technology courses and has training for in-demand jobs such as the oil and gas industry and machining.

Easter Seals of Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana Counties will host their 9th Annual Walk to “Make the First Five Count” at the Boardman Park Elton Beard Cabin on Saturday, April 27, 2013. Walkers will be welcome to participate in a 1 mile, 3k, 5k walk, stroll, roll or run. Participants can enjoy donuts, fruit, coffee and most importantly have the opportunity to help us raise awareness about early intervention for children under the age of five.

Autism Ohio Family Book Club

New Autism Family Book Club- Tuesday April 9th
We are launching a new program called the Autism Family Book Club. Read reviews of the latest books about Autism Spectrum Disorders and the families that share their diagnosis. This group will communicate on line and are invited to participate in a monthly one hour session about autism themed books, films and issues in the news- particularly those with personal stories of those living and loving someone on the Autism Disorder Spectrum. Please join us April 9th at 7pm for a one hour review and discussion of There’s a Boy in Here by local author Judy Barron and her son Sean Barron. The book club will be held at the ASO Family Resource Center One Ohio Building 25 East Boardman Street, Suite 230 Youngstown, Ohio.
Pre-registration requested. Light refreshments will be served.
