Wigs for Kids Hair Donation event!


Would You Like a Free Haircut?
Would you be willing to donate your hair to the Wigs For Kids Organization? Wigs for Kids is a non-profit organization that makes wigs for children who have lost their hair due to medical
circumstances such as alopecia, chemotherapy, radiation, treatments etc. 

The students in Rosalyn Gault’s Cosmetology program at the TCTC will cut your hair for free. Your hair must be at least 10 inches long to donate. Hair may not be
colored, chemically treated or more than 10% gray.

On December 11 between 11:15 and 2:00, the students will perform this service for volunteers to this very worthy cause. Please call Mrs. Rosalyn Gault at 330-847-0503 ext. 1060 to schedule an appointment
Good Shepherd Community Church's Blessed Beginnings infant and toddler outreach ministry will be hosting a clothing giveaway of infants and toddler clothes. the giveaway is scheduled for Saturday, December 7th from 10 a.m. To 12 p.m.

Smoke Detectors are now available in Newton Falls

Newton-Falls-Joint-Fire-District says they will have smoke detectors are available for homeowners starting November 25 at Station 2 across the street from Arbys Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 2:00pm. Additionally, these smoke detectors can be installed by Fire Department staff upon request.

Liberty Police Department Food Collection

Members of the Liberty Police Department will be collecting non-perishable food items, personal care products, and cash donations for needy families. All products will be distributed by Second Harvest Food Bank. The event will take place at Churchill Commons located at 4700 Belmont Avenue. If you cannot attend this event, donations will be accepted at the Liberty Police Department 1315 Churchill Hubbard Road Youngstown, Ohio 44505 by 11-23-2013. Smoke Detector giveaway in Howland



Tribune reports The Howland Fire Department will conduct a smoke detector program from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the main fire station, 169 Niles Cortland Road. The program is targeted for residents living in the township. One smoke detector per household will be given out with proof of residency and matching identification.
